ERNiCrMo-3 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy welding wire designed for joining corrosion-resistant alloys like Inconel 625, Hastelloy, and similar high-performance materials. It offers exceptional resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and oxidation in harsh environments, including chemical processing, marine, and oil & gas applications. The wire delivers high tensile strength and excellent ductility, even in cryogenic conditions, making it suitable for extreme temperature services.
Key features include superior weldability with low risk of hot cracking, stable arc characteristics, and smooth bead appearance. Its composition (Ni-Cr-Mo-Nb) ensures resistance to sulfur compounds and acidic media. ERNiCrMo-3 is commonly used in GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG) processes for critical components like heat exchangers, reactors, and piping systems. Proper pre-weld cleaning and controlled interpass temperatures are recommended for optimal performance.
